Hello, my 5 year old daughter Hannah was diagnosed with a brain tumor last year. She has to have a MRI every three months to make sure that the tumor hasn't returned. She will have her MRI in 2 weeks.

I am writing to request prayer. Something very strange has been happening to my whole body. I have been an insulin dependent diabetic for 35 plus years. I also have allergies that are related to the diabetes and asthma . For the last few months I have been in so much pain that I am unable to walk but a few steps before I am overcome by it. I am totally numb with tingles and pain. I have been on medication for allergies and asthma almost as long as diabetes. Now I am having trouble swallowing and fluid keeps coming up into my throat. I have been to the doctor twice for this in addition to my regular visits. I take lots of medications but nothing seems to help. This is all accompanied by excessive staggering and being unable to keep my balance. It is very painful for me just to type this request. I am a Christian person and attend church regularly. Ali. Age 32yrs. Has recently been for a cervical smear test. She has been told that there are cancer cells ranging from moderate to serious. Has had a biopsy taken but has not had the results yet, more test next Thursday. Paul & Ali have just met and are very much in love. Update:
The medical reports have been very encouraging. The condition is not nearly as bad as it was first thought. The doctors say that it can be treated by surgery (scheduled for later this week) without the need for radiotherapy or chemotherapy. This is a wonderful answer to prayer - Praise God! Marion does not know the Lord but believes that there is something more. We have witnessed to her so she certainly has heard about our wonderful Lord but so far hasn't acknowledged Him. We ask for your prayers please for Marion. That the Lord opens her eyes and heart to Him and gives

As we finished sending an update to the Payer Wall about Ewan, the 8 year old boy with cancer, who we have all been praying for since the request went on the Prayer Wall last year. The news was that Ewan was in remission and doing well. The moment we came off line there was a phone call to say Ewan had been rushed to hospital a couple of hours ago very sick. Because of the treatment he has been on his immune system is not working, the Doctors at
the hospital do not know what is making him so ill and he is on 48 hours observation. Please please pray for Ewan and his family. His father is away at the moment so his mother is having to cope on her own and is in a state. Again this family do not know our Lord and would ask for your prayer that very soon they do.

Thank you so much for your prayers for Ewan and his family. We know that the Lord hears our prayers and we thank you that we are able to join you in your prayers for this very special little boy.

Maureen, Bone cancer. Thank you so much for your prayers. Maureen had her check up after Chemotherapy last month. The cancer is still there and she has been told it always will be. She is being treated with drugs and leading a fairly normal life. We know that the Lord can turn this around and still ask for prayer for her healing.

Ewan. An 8 year old suffering from cancer, Ewan is in remission and doing really really well. Please continue to pray for his full healing.

Both Maureen and young Ewan and their families do not know the Lord. Again a request for prayer for them all.

Chris - Maureen's sisiter - passed away in September. Thank you so much for your

She has already had 2 lumps removed and is undergoing very intensive chemo therapy at present as her lymph nodes have been affected and doctors want to prevent the cancer from spreading to other parts of the body. She is pretty scared because her mum, brother and mother in law have all died of cancer. Sheila is an antiques dealer and has recieved several cards from people who have said they are praying for her. Although she dosen't go to church, she acknowledges that when people have prayed, it has had a positive effect.

Update:
Sheila, the lady who we have been praying 4 who has breast cancer, thanks us 4 praying 4 her. The chemo has been put on hold temporarily so that hopefully she will have been well enough to enjoy her son's wedding this weekend.

She has asked that we pray for a friend/collegue of hers: Debbie who also has breast cancer. It is further advanced in her - (she has already had a mastectomy and is now undergoing chemo therapy). Sheila would love to hear about anyone who has survived third stage breast cancer, as she dosen't know anyone who has and this really scares her.

I was thinking that it would be even better if she could hear from someone who God has healed of stage 3 cancer! Maybe there is someone linked to the prayer wall. If you can help, please email us. Thank you.

David has terminal cancer [something to do with rogue cells in the stomach which eat away at his body and skin] and is due to go into hospital on the 21st march to have a blood transfusion to help his body fight and prepare for major surgery to cut away the cells.

David's had this illness for just over 5 years and is now at the last stages.

Please pray for wholeness and that he will accept Jesus as his friend, the truth and his saviour. Spoke with him today and he's very anti god and the bible. The operation took place today. Everything went well until he was coming around after surgery and they were removing the tubes. We now ask for prayer for Ewan, an 8 year old Down Syndrome little boy. Ewan has the worse kind of Leukemia; he has to have 3 years of chemotherapy. Before the treatment can start Ewan's blood platelets must be higher than they are now, the reading he has is 20, if this goes any lower it becomes very dangerous. There is also a leek in the heart valve; this could cause difficulty when the chemotherapy is ministered.

Please may we ask for your prayers for Ewan. We have seen your prayers answered for Jack, we know that the Lord can do the same for Ewan. Thank you so much.

Update (30/11/04):
Thank you for your prayers for Ewan. He started his first chemotherapy today, he has three years of chemo ahead of him. Although the platelets were still at the wrong level the medical staff decided to go ahead with treatment, apparently they couldn't wait any longer, they said they had no choice.

The family are not christian which is another area for prayer. Ewan's younger brother Alfie ( 6 years old), when told that Ewan might lose his hair, replied, "it doesn't matter he is still my brother."

Regarding 'Peter'who for a few months now has been unwell - the continuous in and out of Addenbrookes hostpital has been a tough time for him and his family - even though he has been a strong believer for 50 years plus. The type of anaemia he has been labeled with has inccured a transfusion of 8 units of blood over a period, and on top of this has had to deal with kidney stones. He complains of breathlessness (like suffocating)and tiredness. Please continue your prayers for him, I believe the Lord has so much for him. God bless you and thank you all.

Update:
Regarding Peter of Haverhill, Thank you all for your prayers over the past months, and although we (River of life Ch) in Haverhill are believing in a miracle, our Peter is dying as I write, his condition has turned into lukeamia, and within the last week we have found out that he has a tumour in his ureatha, cancer has spread to his bladder, and both kidneys have failed. Please pray for him, I know the Lord knows best, yet we would love to see him completely healed ~ so many witness (unbelievers) have gathered around him. All the glory to God. Thankyou again, and I pray next time I update this it will be amazing news.

Have just had a phone call asking us to ask you all for prayer. Beryl is a lady in her 40's, she was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. Today she has been told that the cancer has spread all through her body and there is no hope at all. If she has drugs she can expect to live for a year, if not it is a matter of a few weeks. We spent this morning with her father and step mother and they are devastated at this bad news, they know the Lord but Beryl and her husband David do not. Please pray for Beryls healing and that she and David come to know the Lord in a very special way. Also Gods peace for this family during this time. We have seen Gods healing in so many ways through the power of prayer and thank you so much for your faithfulness to Him. God bless.

Update: Just to let you know that Beryl passed away at 6.35pm tonight. She went peacefully and we are trusting that the Lord spoke to her in her last moments. That she was given the chance to give her heart to Him. Thank you so much for your prayers for Beryl. God Bless.

Our daughter in law's mother Maureen had breast cancer in 1991 and has been well untill last year when a cancer was found in her jaw. it was established that this was a secondary cancer and in no way associated to the breast cancer. The tests have continued as a primary cancer must be found. After many scans, today she has been told that another secondary cancer has shown up on her hip. There has to be a primary cancer somewhere in her body and the scans and other test continue. Maureen does not know the Lord although her daughter Stephanie is a strong Christian and her faith has helped her through many a crisis.

Maureen's sister Chris has cancer. The specialists have told her there is no hope; they have stopped all treatment. She has been told that she will finally slip into a coma and that will be the end.

We have a merciful God and ask once again for your prayers. That these two sisters receive the Lord's healing, and recognise that it is His healing and not man's. That they give their hearts to Him. Thank you so much.

Would you pray for Jack please. Jack is a 6 year old Down Syndrome boy. At 11.30AM Wednesday 28th April he is in Surgery. Jack has about everything wrong with him. He went into surgery at 8.30 this morning and is not expected to come out untill about 3.00PM. The surgeon spoke to Corrine (Jack's mother) last night, Corrine asked please could she have her son back alive and the surgeon replied he could only do his best. Martin and Corrine have had this hanging over them for about a year now, she is in a bad way. They need Jesus in their lives. Thank you so much for your prayers, may God bless you all

Thank you so much for your prayers for Jack. He is out of the theatre. At this time he is on a ventilator and in Intensive Care where he will stay for the next three days. His parents are with him and will be staying with him. We know that the Lord heard and answered your prayers for Jack today, Please would you continue to pray for him and his family, for full healing for this precious little boy, and that his recovery is a witness of the Lord to his family and the medical staff at the hospital. Thank you so much for your prayers for Jack. Have just heard that he has been taken off of the ventilator, is out of intensive care and is on the ward. This is much quicker than expected.
The surgeons are calling him a little miracle and are amazed at the speed he is responding to treatment etc. Jacks father Martin has been to chapel and said that just isn't him,that he just doesn't do things like that!! Could you continue to pray for Jack please, the worry now is that he might get an infection, that would be fatal. Please pray against this for Jack, also that his family and the medical staff reconise that Jacks recovery is much more than the medical profession can achieve, that this is a wonderful witness for our Lord to Jacks family and the staff in the hospital. Again thank you for all your prayers, what a good God we have.

Update (08/05/04):
Thank you once again for all your prayers for Jack. We are delighted to tell you that the Lord has certainly heard those prayers and answered. Jack is home, he came home yesterday. This has been so quick, much quicker than the medical staff at the hospital anticipated. We ask for your continued prayers for Jack and his family, for a full recovery and that this family give their hearts to the Lord. God bless and thank you.

Update:
The latest on Jack is that he is going from strength to strength, Getting stronger every day. He is enjoying all the attention that he is getting, the actual words were " he is full of it" Praise the Lord. Jack still needs prayer for a full recovery. Thank you for your prayers and the part you

Please can you pray for my friend Caroline and her husband Ian. She is 19 weeks pregnant, this is her 5th pregnancy but they have no children. Last week they found an abnormality in the babies bowel which is potentially fatal and today she has had an amneo' to test for chromasomal disorders. It may be necessary for her to carry the baby to term before thay know if the babies bowel is viable that is assuming the tests are clear. They are desperate for this baby, they are not christians but they know we are praying. Please pray that the tests will be clear and God will give us a miracle and heal the bowel so that it develops properly. Thank You

Update (12/1/03): It appears that Oliver has got Hereditary gastrointestinal Atresias. basically this means that his gut doesn't work properly but to make matters worse, his immune system not working properly either. There have only been 35 documented cases ever and all resulted in death in infancy. It appears that Oliver needs a gut and bone marrow transplant simultaneously if there is any long term future and it's never been attempted before let alone succeeded - Please pray that God will hold dominion over this condition and control the medical teams and that he will impact the lives of both Ian and Caroline, who are both remarkable people already.

Update (6/3/03): Oliver was doing well in Worthing despite his illnesses. However at the beginning of the week he had a bleed at his stoma site and the consultant has sent him back to King's in London at present. I have spoken with Ian today and it appears that all being well he should be back in Worthing by the end of the week. Please pray that all will be well and that God will continue to work in all their lives. Let's not be meek about this. God does miracles and there are no limits to his miracles. Please pray that he delivers that miracle!! Praise the Lord.

Update: Oliver has gone to Great Ormand Street and will be having his bone marrow transplant within the next two weeks. The operation has many risks and the risk of mortality is very high. But God can overcome everything. So please pray for a complete success and expect his best in this matter. On Friday (May 16) Caroline was rushed by Police up to Great Ormand Street. Oliver is in intensive care having had a massive chest infection, and actually stopped breathing but was revived. This is the most crucial time of his little life and I really would ask for prayer for Oliver, Caroline and Ian.

Update (7/3/02): a tumour has been discovered - doctors are planning to operate TODAY. Please pray that this procedure will be 100% successful. Pray for Jonathan and his mum, Caron, to know God's presence with them.

Update (15/7/02): Jonathan's condition has worsened - he has been taken off chemo-therapy and transferred to another hospital. Please pray that God will intervene and do what only He can do. Please continue to pray for the family also.

Update (22/7/02): Praise God that the tumour is shrinking and that Jonathan was well enough to attend church yesterday. Please continue to pray for him and his family.

Update (30/7/02): Hi, I am mum to Jonathan, he has a malignant tumour on his spine and is half way through chemotherapy. Tomorrow (29.7.02) he begins radiotherapy to treat the cancer within the vertebrae. Jonathan is very worried about this new treatment and as he has to continue the chemo throughout, it will be a very tiring, anxious time for all of us. Could you please pray for courage and strength for Jonathan as he goes through this ordeal and for healing within the bone. The soft tissue that was growing off the bone, has been shrunk during the first course of chemo. Please pray for complete healing of the tumour and speedy recovery for Jonathan. Update: We have received some good news concerning Jonathan. He has had the result of an MRI scan and they cannot find any trace of cancer. All that showed up was some damage to the vertebrae. Could you please pray for my neighbour Gareth, he is 33 yrs old with a wife and young child and had a cancerous growth removed just before Christmas. He had a CT scan and the results have just come back, it has moved into his lymph glands. He has to go in to hospital next week for the start of chemotherapy. Can we pray for him and his family at this difficult time, pray that he will find God and healing.

UPDATE: Gareth has been told by the doctors that he is cured, this was revealed in a CT scan half way through his chemotherapy treatment, Praise the Lord! The doctors told him that he rarely uses that phrase cured but in his case he felt he had to. Please continue to pray that Gareth (who knows we have been praying for him) and his family will come to faith in Jesus.

Update (12/6/02): Praise the Lord - all the tests have been returned clear! We now await the scan next week which will tell us how far the bowel is disabled (If at all!!) Thank you for your prayers please continue to pray for this baby to be whole.

Update (17/7/02): Thank you for praying. The baby has a problem in one section of its bowel and will need an operation within 24hrs of birth. Please continue to pray, we know that God can heal this baby without the need for medical intervention. Please also pray that the couple will come to know Jesus. Thank You

Update (12/1/03): It appears that Oliver has got Hereditary gastrointestinal Atresias. basically this means that his gut doesn't work properly but to make matters worse, his immune system not working properly either. There have only been 35 documented cases ever and all resulted in death in infancy. It appears that Oliver needs a gut and bone marrow transplant simultaneously if there is any long term future and it's never been attempted before let alone succeeded - Please pray that God will hold dominion over this condition and control the medical teams and that he will impact the lives of both Ian and Caroline, who are both remarkable people already.

Update: Oliver was doing well in Worthing despite his illnesses. However at the beginning of the week he had a bleed at his stoma site and the consultant has sent him back to King's in London at present. I have spoken with Ian today and it appears that all being well he should be back in Worthing by the end of the week. Please pray that all will be well and that God will continue to work in all their lives. Let's not be meek about this. God does miracles and there are no limits to his miracles. Please pray that he delivers that miracle!! Praise the Lord.

Please pray for my Dad in New Zealand. He has been diagnosed with cancer in his throat. He is undergoing various tests and is due to have an operation shortly followed by further radio/chemo therapy. Please pray for Jane who has been struggling with drug addiction. She has a teenage son, who has been unconsciuos in a London Hospital for the last 2 weeks. Since that time, Jane has apparently "disappeared". Please pray that she will be found soon and that the son will regain consciousness. Pray that God will deliver them both from their difficulties.

Update: Since we have been praying, Jane has been found - Praise God! She and her son still need a lot of help. Please pray that she will turn to God to meet her needs & that she will find true satisfaction and fulfilment in Him. Pray also for her son who as far as I am aware is still unconscious.

Hello, I would wish for You to pray on behalf of our family. My wife is mentally ill: she is now hospitalized for the third time, because of her troubles in her role as the mother of our children. Now, since I was the one to submit her into the mental institute, she is extremely bitter towards me, and demanding a divorce. I would wish for You to pray, first of all, that my wife would be cured. And second so, that our family could continue as one (so that she would return home, and understand that I love her, and that what I did as in the best interest of herself).

Please pray for my friend Tony. He has been suffering from a serious illness for some time and is currently in a Hospice. He is not expected to live much longer. Please pray that he will make his peace with God and surrender his life to Jesus.

Update: Amazingly, Tony stopped breathing yesterday and was pronounced dead by the medical team. However, shortly afterwards he started to breathe again and is still alive. I believe that God in his mercy is giving him some extra time. Please continue to pray that he will encounter God in a moment of time that will make an eternal difference.

Update: As some of you may know my dear friend Tony Hughes lost his battle against cancer on Friday 31/1/03 and leaves his wife Jill and twin 20 year old daughters Emily and Victoria. Obviously this is a difficult time for them and I know that the girls believe but aren't necessarily saved. Please could you pray that God comforts them and touches them and that they may be led to Salvation, as Tony was, prior to his death. Particularly on Thurs 13/02 in the morning as this is when the funeral will be.
